French Wine Class: Rhone Valley & Languedoc Roussillon May 17, 2007

An in -depth wine class covering the Southeast of France: North Rhone, South Rhone, Provence and Languedoc Roussillon. Come discover the richness and diversity of local varietals including Viognier, Marsanne and Roussane for white varietals and Syrah, Cinsault, Grenache and Mourvedre for Reds. Some of the exceptional terroirs include Cotes Roties, Chateauneuf-du-pape and Condrieu. We will taste 8 wines. Provencal appetizers and hors d’oeuvres will be served at the end of the tasting.
