Education Francaise Bay Area (www.EFBA.com), a non-profit based in the San Francisco Bay Area which organizes French classes in 19 public schools in the area, is pleased to announce its first cultural outing at the Museum of the Legion of Honor. The language of the outing will be in French. This outing will take place on December 11th, 2011. The excursion is a part of an event series entitled, "A-musee -vous!" Cecile Grassart, an educator who has years of experience in creating similar museum explorations in France, is responsible for organizing this event as well as the event series.

At the EFBA, we believe that it is essential for students to have the opportunity to speak in French outside of the classroom and home. The EFBA is proud to enable students to experience the beauty of art and give them the tools to express their experiences in the French language.

This excursion will be a unique occasion for children to exchange words in French while learning a little more about Greek, Egyptian and European art.

Aided by a book of clues, students will depart on their exploration of the museum. With their new friends, they will use the clues to help them solves the mysteries of the scavenger hunt.

They will be guided through the museum by several French-speaking chaperones.

Note: due to the popularity of this event, the event has sold out and we are not able to accept any more students (even the waitlist is full) for this December 11th visit. In order to avoid missing out on signing up for future outings, please visit our website: www.efba.us
