From NOLAFunGuide.com:
In a city obsessed with good food, it comes as no surprise that one day in June is devoted to a stock ingredient. This tomato festival is held at the market in New Orleans' French Quarter. As well as a series of cooking demonstrations, tasting sessions and talks on different recipes, visitors are entertained with music and dancing, while local restaurants provide a whole gamut of tomato-based dishes to gorge on. Just don't wear your best white shirt...
10am-6pm daily
