Freetown Village Singers February 18, 2011

The evening entitled 'This Little Light...' will feature the singers of Freetown Village and take the audience on a historical musical journey from the mid 1800's through the mid 1900's. Guests will enjoy a scrumptious full course dinner. "The Singers traditionally sing and interpret the meanings of many of the old Negro Spirituals from the 1800s," said Ophelia Wellington, Founding Director of Freetown Village. "In between courses, the singers will change costumes and come back with a medley of songs of a more modern era."
