Join MCCLA for the premiere of a new documentary produced by the Freedom Archives, Cointelpro 101, the US government's famed counterintelligence program. The film covers the history of this program and it's impacts on social justice activists and communitites of color throughout the US during the !60's and !70's. After the film, panelists Soffiyah Elijah, Deputy Director of the Criminal Justice Institute at Harvard Law School, and Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz, Professor Emerita of Ethnic Studies at CSU-Hayward will delve further into the meaning of cointelpro and it's lasting impression on American society.
