The evolution of digital media has resulted in new digital canvases that allow brands to message to consumers using unique and more compelling ad formats. Even well known spaces, like login pages or homepages are experiencing advertising in a whole new way. Yahoo! in partnership with Innerscope research, used eye tracking and biometric measures (heart rate, respiratory rate, galvanic skin response and movement) to understand more about what engages consumers most effectively and why when it comes to larger and more innovative ad units. Not all ads are created equally. Our study will unveil best practices on how to leverage new digital canvases to make sure dollars spent on innovative spaces drive the desired response.
