Four industry pros will share their techniques for crafting a producer-friendly script at the next Alameda Writers Group meeting.

Bill Lundy has had two of his scripts (?Silent Warnings and ?Alien Siege?) produced on the Sci-Fi channel, and has several other scripts in development. He?ll demonstrate how to tighten and improve a script.

Hal Croasmun, creator of the ScriptForSale.com online writing program, will present an in-depth excerpt from his class, ?Mastering Subtext.?

Producer/director James K. Shea, is the co-author of the book ?The Perfect Pitch,? and vice president of the Scriptwriters Network. He will discuss structuring the emotional side of a script.

Jim Kelly Durgin, the chief instructor at Cinema Arts Tech, will show how understanding ?script supervision? can enhance the screenwriting process.

Admission is free, and the library validates parking in the structure at Harvard and Maryland.

The AWG presents lectures by novelists, screenwriters, agents, producers and other industry professionals at free monthly meetings. In addition, AWG members may attend special interest groups that offer support and feedback for works-in-progress.
