Virtual Venues


Exploring Materiality and Gesture is a series of dance, music and theatre performances connecting UC Irvine with UC Berkeley and UC San Diego using high-definition video and audio over high-speed computer networks. This project, created by a team of collaborating artists and technologists from all three campus, positions the Universities of California as a world leader in telepresence research. Virtual Venues stimulates new collaborative practices that are interactive and spontaneous.
