Free Sci-Fi Movie Night with Borderlands Books & Variety!

Please join us at the Variety Preview Room in the 1st floor of the Hobart Building, 582 Market Street, corner of Montgomery. Just a few steps away from BART/MUNI, and parking is free on the streets after 6PM.

7:00PM - HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE - or, as we like to call it, Hauru No Ugoku Shiro. Based on the fabulous novel by Diana Wynne Jones.

9:00PM - GEDO SENKI - TALES OF EARTHSEA. Based on the Earthsea books by Ursula K LeGuin. THIS FILM IS UNRELEASED IN THE UNITED STATES!!! Here's your chance to see it!

The first movie starts at 7:00 pm, and the second movie about 9PM. There will be a short intermission between the films. Come for one movie - stay for both!

Oh yeah. Free popcorn too! Now, now, popcorn and whiskey go perfectly well together...

Seating is limited and seats are available on a first-come, first seated basis, so arrive early! The cash bar proceeds benefit Variety Children's Charity of Northern California, an international nonprofit organization that supports children in local communities who are dealing with poverty, neglect, violence, and physical disabilities.
