Free ROBOT Competition!!! May 21, 2005

Beantown Blitz, FIRST Robotics Competition! FIRST is an organization which tries to get high school students as enthusiastic about science and technology as they can be about professional sports.

There will be about 40 robots (built by teams of high school students) competing in this high-energy event. Imagine a sporting event like a basketball game, complete with cheerleaders, Jock Jams, and The Wave, except with robots moving around on the court instead of people. Beantown Blitz will be an all-day event taking place in Matthews Arena at Northeastern University. It will be a great time for the whole family!
