mceneaney's monthly music and comedy show returns. liam gets some of new york city's best writers together to read their pieces as one of the city's best jazz bands improvises a musical bed behind them.

this month's lineup includes:

host: liam mceneaney

* eric drysdale - as a writer for 'the daily show' and 'the colbert report,' he has won six emmy awards, and co-authored the ny times best-sellers 'america: the book' and 'i'm america and so can you'

* todd levin - has been published in salon, the onion, modern humorist, glamour, esquire, and radar. his reading show, 'how to kick people,' was produced at the us comedy arts festival in aspen

* neil swaab - writes and illustrates the cult favorite comic strip, 'rehabilitating mr. wiggles,' which has been collected into three books and has been translated into several languages around the world. recently, neil illustrated his first book for young readers, 'yet another nastybook,' published by harpercollins
