Drama Therapy is the use of theater techniques to facilitate personal growth and promote health. It is used in a wide variety of settings, including hospitals, schools, mental health centers, and businesses. Many forms of theatrical interventions can be used including role play, theater games, group games, mime, puppetry, and other improv techniques. Often, drama therapy is utilized to help a client solve a problem, achieve catharsis, delve into truths about self, understand the meaning of personally resonant images, and to explore and transcend unhealthy patterns of interaction. The session is fun, refreshing, and can help ou make deep personal discoveries!

The class is geared toward adults (teens okay, too). RSVPs appreciated--contact Kristi at [email protected] or 734-253-2650.
