To celebrate the expansion of ‘Free Night of Theater California’ in 2010, Theatre Bay Area (TBA) will host an exciting daylong cultural affair at San Francisco’s Union Square. This kick-off event will feature live performances (free to the general public) and TBA will giveaway over 5,000 free tickets!

During the month of October, Theatre Bay Area (TBA) and other California arts organizations will offer over 10,000 free and discounted theatre tickets to the public. Over the course of the campaign, more than 120 theatre companies are expected to participate, offering some 8,000 tickets to an anticipated 150 theatre productions.

Free Night of Theater California will take place at locations across California, including San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, Sacramento, Fresno, Riverside, and more! Free Night of Theater (FNOT) is a national program of Theatre Communications Group (TCG) and produced locally by Theatre Bay Area and other regional partners across the country. Theatre Bay Area is a co-founder of the Free Night of Theater program and has been an instrumental leader in spearheading the campaign at a national level.
