1500 East Main Street
Richmond, Virginia

Join the City of Richmond as they ring in the season at the Main Street Station Holiday Open House. Enjoy an evening complete with free children’s train rides along the Polar Express, hot cider and cookies, decorations, crafts and live musical entertainment with “One Voice Chorus”. The City’s emphasis on literacy is featured with professional storytellers in partnership with the Richmond Public Library and the READ Center. Please bring a new book to donate to our book drive! Enjoy the grandeur of one of the city’s most iconic architectural gems and explore the lighted “Cathedral Walk” at the Plaza at Main Street Station. An exhibition of oversized holiday “greeting cards” from metro Richmond area public and private schools will be on display again this year. The giant cards, each created from wooden doors, are creatively designed and painted by art classes and clubs in schools from throughout Richmond. Event parking is available within the Plaza using the Main St. and Cary St. entrances. Don’t miss the holiday fun! For more information call 804-646-5633.
