Free Lunchtime Talk - The Conservation of the Smithills Hall Bears at Bolton Museum, Aquarium and Archive December 12, 2008

Join Bolton Museum’s Conservator Pierrette Squires for a FREE, informal lunchtime talk on the conservation of the Smithills Hall Bears. Pierrette has been working to repair two Victorian mascots of Smithills hall. The bears are made of plaster and have been broken over the years. This project aims to repair the bears so that they can once again be displayed at Smithills.

The talk is part of Bolton Museum and Archive Services 125th year anniversary celebration. Tea and coffee will be provided and you are welcome to bring your own lunch to the lecture.
