Another Chop’t® Opens in D.C.—You Can Leave Your “Greenbacks” at Home

Pre-Opening Celebration on Monday, August 25th Features Free Salads and Salad Sandwiches Beginning at 11am at New Metro Center Location

WASHINGTON, D.C., August 22, 2008 – To celebrate the grand opening of their newest Washington D.C. location at 618 12th St., NW, Chop’t® Creative Salad Company will be holding their trademark pre-opening “training day” celebration on Monday, August 25 – when guests can enjoy all salads and salad sandwiches free of charge. Lunch will be served “on the house” from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. or until the last bit of lettuce is gone. There is a limit of one meal per customer. Co-founders Tony Shure and Colin McCabe will be on hand for the festivities.

The new Chop’t at Metro Center will formally open for business on Tuesday, August 26th. Regular hours of operation will be: Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Catering can be arranged by calling 202-783-0007. Catering and delivery services will also be available at this location.
