Free Landscaping Classes August 29, 2009

CALIFORNIA FRIENDLY LANDSCAPE TRAINING classes have proven to be an important and successful tool for reducing outdoor water use through the education of professional landscapers and home gardeners. The following classes are geared for residential homeowners:

Saturday, August 29: Basic Landscape Design
Saturday, September 12: California Friendly Plants
Saturday, October 10: Efficient Irrigation Systems
Saturday, October 24: Soil, Fertilizer, and Watering

All of the above classes begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 12:00 noon.

Saturday, October 3: California Gardening for the Water Wise Gardener will be from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Registration closes one week prior to scheduled class date. Each class requires a minimum of 20 attendees and will be canceled if this minimum is not met. Due to space availability, no more than 100 attendees are permitted.
