Two former members of the Minnesota band Hockey Night have relocated to Philadelphia and formed Free Energy. Dubbed "one of the best live bands in America," by SPIN, Pitchfork, and Rolling Stone, Free Energy delivers a "guitar-heavy and totally unironic AM-rock sound" reminiscent of Tom Petty and Mick Jagger.
