All Green Electronics Recycling Announces E-Waste Clean Up Campaign

Free Lift Ticket to MT Baldy when Recycle

ORANGE COUNTY, CA – All Green Electronics Recycling, a full service electronics recycling company, is cleaning up electronic waste across Orange County with a recycling campaign that encompasses sixteen cities and several promotions. Already in motion, the blitz continues with Free Electronics Recycling Collection Events in 2010 at the following locations: Huntington Beach Library (January 8 and 9), Fountain Valley (January 16), Coto De Caza (January 23), Costa Mesa O.C. Market Place (January 30 and 31) and a grand opening at All Green Headquarters in Orange (January 21, 23 and 24). The ribbon cutting ceremony on January 21 will symbolize the beginning of safer and greener e-waste recycling for Orange County. More information can be found at www.allgreenrecycling.com or by calling 800-780-0347.

To further encourage participation from Orange County cities, All Green’s campaign offers free e-waste pick-ups from businesses and residences that have at least ten recyclable items. Secure data destruction is always guaranteed and a certificate showing Department Of Defense (DOD) standards is available for a small fee.

All Green has also partnered with Mt. Baldy Ski Resorts to offer a free weekday lift ticket to anyone that recycles with All Green between now and February 1, 2010. And as a final incentive, All Green will pick up televisions from anywhere in Orange County for $19.95 between Christmas and February 1, 2010. Their goal in creating this expansive campaign, according to Arman Sadeghi, CEO, is to inspire residents to recycle as safely as possible.

“There’s been a lot of press recently about the growing problem of shipping e-waste to third world countries for processing,” explains Mr. Sadeghi. “All Green Electronics Recycling has never sent any waste to third world countries or put anything in landfills. We felt we could help well-intentioned recyclers be part of the solution. Most folks will sell good electronics and think they’re recycling the obsolete ones, when those materials actually end up destroying the environment. By sending their worn out electronics to us, they can be sure their e-waste is being recycled properly and safely. By reaching out to as many people as possible, we hope to keep improper recycling to a minimum.”

Rather than sending e-waste to landfills or third world countries, All Green’s recycling process involves dismantling and extracting the valuable commodities from all electronics. These commodities include iron, copper, aluminum, plastic, glass, precious metal mix, and shredded circuit boards. This process ensures 100% data destruction. Items accepted for recycling include computers, monitors, printers, cell phones, televisions, VCRs, DVD players, scanners and many other outdated electronics. With more than 100 collection points all over the United States, All Green already has the capacity to collect and process millions of pounds of e-waste every year.
