Serra Mesa / Kearny Mesa Library Family Concert Series
Presents
John Bosley

Wednesday February 11th 2009 6:30 p.m.

SAN DIEGO – John’s a traditional folksinger-songwriter, who has been performing in San Diego since the 1960’s. He plays guitar. He writes slice of life songs, observational songs, odd circumstance songs and people story songs. He’s once again playing solo, returning to his musical roots and trying to find new ways to sing and write about the big world around him.
John says;
I've been a songwriter a good many years now. Until recently, I've performed solo, accompanying myself on guitar. In 2004, I self-produced a CD of 12 original songs, recorded and engineered by the tasteful and talented Joe Bressler of riddimBank.com. The songs are recorded with just guitar and voice to capture the feel of a solo performance in an intimate setting. In 2006, I formed a band with two friends - Jeffrey Joe Morin and Jack Johnson. We call ourselves Johnson, Bosley & Morin; sometimes shortened to JoBozMo. These guys are top-notch musicians and can sure put a shine on a song. Jeffrey Joe does guitar, harmonica and vocals. Jack does mostly double bass and vocals, but also does a few numbers on vibraphones. We have a great time playing, and sound good too.
