Free Computer Classes:
October 2009 Schedule

Come register for FREE October 2009 computer classes. Registration day for all October 2009 classes at the St. George Library Center is Saturday, October 3rd from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

Computer class registration is done on a first come, first serve basis. The amount of classes that individuals are permitted to sign up for per month varies based upon demand. You may only register for yourself, not for anyone else. If you have travelled by car, please feed your meter appropriately. You may have to wait awhile to register for classes, depending on registration turnout. We appreciate your patience.

Introduction to Computers
Wednesday October 7th, 2009
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Hands-on practice for beginners
*No computer experience necessary

Introduction to the Internet
Wednesday October 14th, 2009
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Learn how to search the Internet,
with hands-on practice
*Prerequisites: Completion of “Introduction to Computers”
or basic knowledge of computers and how to use the mouse.

Introduction to Excel
Wednesday, October 21st, 2009
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Learn about to the basic features of Microsoft Excel, a spreadsheet program designed for MS Windows.
*Prerequisites: Completion of “Introduction to MS Word” or basic knowledge about how to use the MS Word program.
