CalAPA "Asphalt Tech Talk" Meeting Experienced asphalt producers, contractors and public agency representatives will gather at the Laborers' Training Center in San Ramon to discuss technical issues of importance to anyone in the road-building business. This meeting, which is sponsored by the CalAPA Technical Committee, was previously called a "Technical Committee meeting."

Get up to speed on the latest information on state asphalt specifications, technology and best-practices Interact with asphalt industry experts and public owners
Provide input to help shape future decisions on asphalt specifications
In-depth discussions expected on new Caltrans Section 39 asphalt specifications, Type C (High Stability) mixes and new pavement smoothness requirements.
Who should attend?
Contractors, suppliers, estimators, engineers, public works representatives and anyone with an interest in the latest information on asphalt technology and specifications as they relate to public works projects. More than 100 people signed up for a recent meeting in Vacaville.

There is no charge to attend this event. However, space is limited, so pre-registration is required. There is ample free parking at the Training Center.
