Grammy-nominated composer and pianist Freddie Ravel began his career performing worldwide with Brazilian master Sergio Mendes. Shortly thereafter, Universal Music discovered Freddie and together, they released three top-charting solo albums including the #1 hit, “Sunny Side Up.” Freddie’s concert appearances span three decades across six continents. With a keen ability to create cultural collaboration through music, Ravel has produced, recorded and composed with such diverse luminaries as Earth, Wind & Fire, Al Jarreau, Quincy Jones, the Boston Pops and rock legend, Carlos Santana.

This program is part of the Latin Sounds series every Saturday at LACMA in Hancock Park.
