Frank Smith's "Going to Texas" show, with Viva Viva and Age Rings February 24, 2007

The Plan and Pirate! present Frank Smith, the band (not the man), in their final goodbye to Boston on Saturday, February 24th at Great Scott. It’s the “Going To Texas” show, Frank Smith’s last before relocating to Austin, where their first gig will be at the South By Southwest music festival.

Before leaving Boston, FS will hit Mad Oak recording studio, backing up local alternababe legend Juliana Hatfield on a six-song EP tentatively titled “Juliana Hatfield and Frank Smith, ‘Sittin’ In A Tree…’.”

FS’s new album will be released in May.
