New York City, New York

New York Times columnist Frank Rich examines what he says is the trail of fictions manufactured by the Bush Administration from 9/11 to Hurricane Katrina, exposing what he calls the most brilliant spin campaign ever waged. Rich joined the Times in 1980 as its chief drama critic. He has been an op-ed columnist since 1994. He is the author of Ghost Light: A Memoir; Hot Seat: Theater Criticism for The New York Times; and, most recently, The Greatest Story Ever Sold: The Decline of Truth from 9/11 to Katrina. Barbara Walters was co-host and chief correspondent of ABC’s 20/20 for 25 years. She is also co-owner, co-executive producer and co-host of the Emmy-winning The View.
