Franciscan Hospital for Children Hosts Boston Health and Safety Fair June 17, 2008

Franciscan Hospital for Children will host a Health and Safety Fair to inform and educate children on the importance of bicycle and seatbelt safety on June 17. Hospital pediatricians will distribute information on summer safety and answer questions from parents and children. The hospital will also offer free child seat safety checks for parents. In addition, the hospital will distribute vouchers for free bike helmets to the first 25 children who attend. Additional helmets will be available for $5.00 and all children ages 5 to 11 can be measured for headgear.
