British award-winning 'wobbly' comedian and star of Ricky Gervais' hit TV series Extras, Francesca Martinez returns to Riverside Theatres on March 26 with a personal, hilarious and hard-hitting show. With sellout shows at the Edinburgh Festival and the Melbourne Comedy Festival, Martinez has wowed audiences in London, New York and Hollywood. Fresh from appearing at the Adelaide Fringe and on the hit TV show Spicks and Specks, don't miss this unique comedian for one night only at Riverside Theatres.

Francesca Martinez is a comedian, writer, speaker and actress. She has toured internationally including a 33 date UK tour and sold out shows at the Melbourne Comedy Festival and Just for Laughs festival in Montreal. Throughout her career Martinez has become a patron for various charities including, Pegasus Theatre, Building For The Future and Baby LifeLine. She is also one of the main contributors in the BBC2 documentary Are You Having A Laugh which looks at the portrayal of disability on television.

“It’s a great feeling to make people laugh,” said Ms Martinez in a recent interview. “But I feel it’s also a privilege to have an hour of anyone’s time, so I don’t want to use it to challenge people’s attitudes and perhaps make them question the way they look at things”.
