Framing the Vulva September 26, 2010

In response to a conference of the International Society of Cosmetogynecology promoting female genital cosmetic surgeries (September 23-25 at the Venetian Hotel), the New View Campaign, the UNLV Women's Studies Department, and Petals are presenting a counter-conference to examine the personal and political complexities of this new industry on September 26, 2010.

You are invited to an evening reception following this conference. We will celebrate female genital diversity through arts and crafts at the Erotic Heritage Museum from 7 to 10 pm. See an exhibition of Nick Karras' photos of "Petals" and view the DVD of his journey in the production of the book!

Conference participants are free, general public $5.

During the evening, Nick Karras will be taking more photographs for his upcoming follow-up of his acclaimed "Petals". Models are needed.
