Fourth of July Celebration Miami Beach July 4, 2009

Miami Beach joins the rest of the United States to celebrate Independence Day in style. This beach party reflects the area's diverse cultural heritage. Latin and tropical bands perform and the evening closes with an impressive pyrotechnic display.

The evening kicks off with a suitably nationalistic celebration: the naturalisation ceremony of new US citizens under the age of 18.

If you drive, parking is available in lots along Collins Avenue between 79th & 84th Streets. Bring a beach blanket or chair if you plan to get stuck in.
