Four Squared Opening Reception August 25, 2012

Opening Reception: Sat, Aug 25, 7-10pm; Exhibit: Aug 25 - Sept 26; Artist Talk: Sat, Sept 15, 12-2pm

"FourSquared" is a unique exploration of the works of sixteen Bay Area artists. Each of the artists produces sixteen small works, presented in sixteen clusters giving the audience the experience of sixteen micro solo exhibitions. All works are priced under $500.

Artists' talk on Saturday, September 15, 12-2pm.

Curated by Michael Yochum & Matthew Frederick, Arc Gallery Partners. Michael Yochum is the author of SF Art News, which maintains an exhaustive list of art events and openings in San Francisco. Matthew Frederick is founder of Project Three, an artist collective in the Mission, where he maintains his studio. "Four-Squared" is a reflection of the co-curators' strong and abiding interest in local, affordable art and the exhibition includes some of our most talented local artists.

Arc Gallery supports the making of quality art in all media, provides a nurturing environment for artists to create their work, builds a community of artists to encourage exploration of art, provides resources for the professional development of visual artists, and promotes appreciation of the visual arts in the city of San Francisco.
