Four Elements: Mixed Media Exhibit of Glass, Wood, Ceramics and Metals January 4, 2007

Glass, wood, ceramics and metals: each of these media has unique qualities that shape the artist’s ability to express ideas, feelings and to make social commentary. Each medium presents special challenges; restraining and freeing expression in turn.

“Four Elements” features Chinese artists who are pioneers in working with these forms of mixed media. This exhibit opens January 5, 2007 at twocities and will run until mid-February. “Four Elements” includes wood and lacquer paintings, contemporary glass, ceramics and metal pieces including jewelry.

The twocities gallery specializes in three-dimensional art and promotes academic development among artists.
