New York City-based power-pop band Fountains of Wayne draws elements of its three-minute pop tune style from such diverse influences as The Beatles, Cheap Trick, The Cars and Weezer. The group made its first big splash with the title tune from Tom Hanks' directorial debut, 'That Thing You Do.'
