Foundations of Analog Photography March 5, 2013

This six-week course is a introduction to the basics, including the creative possibilities of photography. Students will be encouraged to use the camera as an expressive tool as they develop an understanding of the technical and visual aspects of black-and-white film photography.

Topics will include techniques of proper exposure; principles of composition; and understanding the use of light. Film processing and darkroom printing skills will also be developed throughout the course.
