The Found Footage Festival, the acclaimed touring showcase of odd and hilarious found videos, is proud to present a special interactive screening of 'Computer Beach Party,' one of the most wonderfully awful movies ever found on VHS. Hosts Joe Pickett and Nick Prueher, Stoughton natives whose credits include The Onion and the Late Show with David Letterman, are excited to blow the dust off the forgotten 1980s sex comedy for this one-night-only screening, complete with live commentary, trivia games and other surprises. 'Computer Beach Party' is a cringe-inducing comedy from 1985 about a couple of guys, Andy and Dennis, who try to use their knowledge of computers to stop a greedy developer from turning their beloved beach into a tourist attraction. Shot entirely in Galveston, Texas, and featuring poorly-dubbed dialogue, a naive understanding of how computers work, and two musical performances by heavy metal band Panther, 'Computer Beach Party' is destined to become a cult classic.
