Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra April 18, 2009

The Fort Wayne Philharmonic welcomes Maestro Jamie Laredo and his wife, cellist Sharon Robinson. Recently appointed faculty members of Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music, the couple has performed as soloists and chamber musicians around the world. With the Philharmonic, they will collaborate in Shostakovich's dramatic first cello concerto. Maestro Laredo will lead the orchestra's string section in John Corigliano's 'Voyage' and will command the full orchestra in Prokofiev's epic fifth symphony.
