The Fort Wayne Philharmonic is pleased to welcome back pianist, Orli Shaham, a favorite of both the audience and the orchestra. She joins Maestro Jaime Laredo in a lively crowd-pleaser, the second piano concerto by Saint-Saens. The concert begins with American composer, John Harbison's playful work, "The Most Often Used Chords". The concert's lighthearted tone continues as Maestro Laredo leads the orchestra on a romp through Mendelssohn's rousing "Scottish" symphony.
