Fort Wayne Philharmonic Masterworks: Concert in D January 15, 2011

One of the finest works ever composed for the instrument, and at the instigation of an American GI, Strauss' Oboe Concerto is performed by the New York Philharmonic's principal oboist, Liang Wang. And speaking of fine works, Dvorak's Symphony No. 7 is believed to be one of his most superior.
