Fort Washington and Piscataway Park February 6, 2011

We'll begin our day at Fort Washington, in southwestern Prince George's County, with a walk along the Potomac River and Swan Creek to look for wintering waterfowl. From here, we'll move on to Piscataway Park and National Colonial Farm, where we'll explore freshwater tidal wetlands, the Potomac River shoreline, and open fields in a search for seasonal birds, animal tracks, and other signs of winter wildlife.
