Forman, Philpot and Covington Electric Jazz Trio February 28, 2010

Best known for his time in the 1980s bands of John McLaughlin and Wayne Shorter, keyboardist Mitch Forman leads this high level electric trio in a mixture of original compositions and musically fascinating reworkings of standards. Drummer Kirk Covington was a driving force in the success of the world renowned jazz fusion group Tribal Tech.
