Forest Lawn and the War of 1812 April 10, 2011

Patrick Kavanagh, Forest Lawn Historian and Buffalo History Scholar, will discuss some of the more than 300 soldiers, volunteers and civilians -- who now reside in Forest Lawn - who played a part in the War of 1812. Learn more about Erastus Granger and the significance of his residence (now Forest Lawn) during the War, as Western New York gears up for the 200th anniversary of this important war, during which many battles were fought on the Niagara Frontier.
