Forest Festival September 2, 2007

The annual Epping Forest Festival takes place on Sunday 2 September 2007 from 11.00am to 4.00pm on Chingford Plain, Chingford, London, E4 7QH. Admission is free.

This event celebrates all that is special and unique about this open space and main arena events include jousting medieval knights (back by popular demand!), dog agility, a pipe and drum band and Epping Forest’s very own dancing digger! There will be various entertainments taking place around the arena, all with a Forest theme and children’s entertainment will be provided by traditional swingboats and donkey rides. Refreshments will be available with everything from homemade cakes and an organic barbecue to a beer tent with live jazz!

Access by public transport is excellent with Chingford train and bus station located a five minute walk away from the event site (main line trains run from Liverpool Street Station, with an approximate journey time of just 25 minutes).
