With 70 million+ records sold it's no wonder they're universally hailed as one of the most popular rock acts in the world

Foreigner will forever be remembered for their uber-famous classic rock tunes, like "Feels Like the First Time," "Waiting For a Girl Like You," "Cold as Ice" and “Jukebox Hero.” And if you ever sat and dreamed of them coming to The Klein, you can stop now.

Recently, Foreigner celebrated the 35th anniversary of their formation with a three-disc CD/DVD set by going acoustic, electric and live. The accompanying tour will be a rare treat.

Formed by Mick Jones in 1976, with ex-King Crimson rocker Ian McDonald and singer Lou Gramm. They have sold more than 70 million albums across the world and they’re getting ready for a lot more, with Feels Like the First Time, containing a pair of CDs entitled Acoustique: The Classics Unplugged and Juke Box Heroes: Brand New Digital Recordings of Foreigner's Greatest Hits, along with the DVD "Live in Chicago," which was filmed in March during two shows at the Arcada Theatre in St. Charles, Ill., and will also be shown during PBS' pledge drive this fall.

The current line-up, rocking since 2005, has revitalized the music of Foreigner and has made it truly feel like the first time, recently playing a mega concert with Journey, Styx and Night Ranger. Their stadium rock performance is unlike anything in rock music today, larger than life and so melodic and huge that you’ll wish they were playing two nights.

“To come up with a highlight would be difficult because that would imply there was some low points, of which there was not.” – The Phoenix Examiner, July ‘11
