Forces of Nature: 2008 Brower Youth Award Winners November 4, 2008

What does it take to become an environmental leader? What are the most innovative campaigns led by youth across the continent? Earth Island Institute presents 'Forces of Nature,' a multimedia exhibit of the winners of the 2008 Brower Youth Awards. Each year, The Brower Youth Awards recognize people ages 13 to 22 living in North America who have shown outstanding leadership on a project with positive environmental and social impact. Find out more about these six charismatic young heroes for Planet Earth, whose stories and struggles inspire people of all ages in an exhibit on display on the second floor of the Center.
