In 2007 Forbes launched its first ever conference in the region. Titled ‘Driving Growth – Risk & Reward in the Middle East’ the three day conference was unqualified success.

The event attracted over 300 participants from 60 countries and was attended by some of the most talked about business and industry leaders, including former Heads of State, Presidents and Chairmen of the world's most prolific companies and entrepreneurs who have changed the course of industry

Topical and thought provoking agendas addressed issues of significance for driving business in the region. Led by a stellar cast of keynote speakers and with a dynamic format of interview panels, discussions and round table sessions the Forum provided a setting for candid peer-to-peer discussion and frank exchange of views on the most pressing issues global businesses face.

Endorsed by The Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and The Minister of Foreign Affairs HH Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabr Al-Thani, and providing unprecedented access to the business elite of the Middle East the Forum achieved incredible levels of networking and fostered the forging of relationships that will drive and shape the future of business in the region.

Few world markets offer as much promise and potential as Qatar, the emerging powerhouse of the Middle East. With its phenomenal growth Qatar is rapidly establishing itself as a centre of excellence and a true emerging leader in the region. The first Forbes CEO Middle East Forum, the most the successful Business Conference in the Middle East to date, has underpinned the demand for continued discourse and examination of the economic, political, social, and cultural dimensions shaping business in the region.

Forbes CEO Middle East 2008 promises to deliver again!

To ensure the highest level of discussion, participation is by invitation only and limited to the chairmen, CEOs, and presidents of major multinational corporations. Top-caliber guests, global representation, a strategically focused program, and the intimate scale will again ensure that Forbes CEO Middle East Forum 2008 is an event not to be missed.
