Based on the smash-hit 1984 movie Footloose that captured the heart of America, this musical bursts onstage with youthful spirit, dazzling dance scenes and electrifying music. When Ren, a teen from Chicago, moves to a rural Midwestern town with his mom, he discovers a world where rock music and dancing have been banned. Ren and his classmates want a senior prom, and it isn’t long before Ren has the whole class on their feet sending the town into frenzy. Footloose has the heart and music to get everyone on their feet! The show features classic 80’s hits including Holding Out for a Hero, Let’s Hear It for the Boy and the unforgettable title song Footloose.
