Food tasting, Fashion and Fun October 10, 2009

Havant Borough Council is supporting this event, the first of its kind organised by the Havant Multicultural Forum. The forum was formed in August 2008 with membership open to over 18’s. The objective of the group is to raise awareness and benefits of diversity across the borough and bring together the community.

Councillor Andy Lenaghan, cabinet member for health and wellbeing said: ”We are delighted to be able to offer our support to this event. This is a great way to bring people together and learn about a variety of cultures and social activities.”

The event will encourage the sharing of music, dance, food tasting and poetry.
