Food Film Festival: "Ratatouille" January 25, 2008

Still hungry - or is it time to bring the family to a movie feast? "Ratatouille" is an animated new release (2007) that wraps up our month of Food Films Friday 1/25.

A rat named Remy dreams of becoming a great French chef despite his family's wishes and the obvious problem of being a rat in a decidedly rodent-phobic profession. When fate places Remy in the sewers of Paris, he finds himself ideally situated beneath a restaurant made famous by his culinary hero, Auguste Gusteau. Despite the apparent dangers of being an unlikely - and certainly unwanted - visitor in the kitchen of a fine French restaurant, Remy's passion for cooking soon sets into motion a hilarious and exciting rat race that turns the culinary world of Paris upside down. The film is Rated G.

Bring the family to the movies at the Firehouse Theatre. The Firehouse Theatre doors open at 6:30 with the film beginning promptly at 7. Tickets at the door are $5. We also offer a "10 Pass" for $40 that is fully transferable and never expires. It can be used for multiple entries to the same film.
