Relive the heyday of Fontaine Ferry Park with hands-on experiences and activities highlighting the fun, fashion and faces of a bygone era. All activities are included with the cost of museum admission.

• Swing to a performance by the Arthur Murray Dance Studio. Learn to tango, rumba and cha-cha!
• Win a prize in the hourly Hula Hoop Contest.
• Answer the question, "How did he do that?!" while enjoying a magic show by local legend, Manny Ehrlich, "The Wizard of Ah's!"
• Design a carousel horse, create a puppet, make a Zoetrope "movie" and more at one of our craft stations.
• Try your hand at carnival games like archery, horseshoes and games of chance.
• Laugh out loud to a collection of silent movies, just like the ones shown at Fontaine Ferry (compiled by Ryan Daly, filmmaker and President of the Louisville Film Society).
• Learn the ins-and-outs of roller coaster design as you create and customize a virtual roller coaster.
• Be dazzled by a Fontaine Ferry Fashion Show with fashions from 1905 to the 1960s (donated by Stage One, Derby Dinner Playhouse and U of L's Theater Department costume shop, with hair and make-up provided by students from Paul Mitchell's The School)!
• Witness the Vaudeville-style "Pino & Bonzer Show," a fun-filled variety show that features a quirky clown and one amazing dog.
