Flying Saucer Draught Emporium One-Year Anniversary Party in Kansas City May 2, 2009

Flying Saucer Draught Emporium will host its one-year anniversary party on Saturday, May 2 at 2 p.m. at its location in the Kansas City Power & Light District at 101 East 13th St.

Beginning at 2 p.m., Flying Saucer will tap kegs every hour on the hour. Featured beers include the Schlafly Bourbon Barrel Imperial Stout; Left Hand Oak-Aged Imperial Stout, Avery Samael’s Ale; Bear Republic Racer X, The Grizz and Nor Cal Ale; Great Divide 2007 Old Ruffian; Bell’s Brewery 2007 Expedition Stout; and Sierra Nevada Brown Saison. More beers are expected to be added to the list in the coming weeks.

Flying Saucer’s one-year anniversary party also will feature raffles throughout the day, including prizes such as beer-related giveaways and Kansas City Royals tickets. Admission to the event is free, and raffle tickets are free with admission, limited to one per customer.
