Flora Springs Wine Dinner At Vitae Restaurant September 26, 2011

Vitae Restaurant and Wine Bar announces a Flora Springs wine dinner to be held on Monday, September 26 at 7 p.m. The four-course, $85 per person, menu will be paired with wines from Flora Springs Winery of Napa Valley.

FIRST COURSE
Chilled Oyster Escabeche with preserved lemon, pink grapefruit-red onion mojo, and cilantro chiffonade
Paired with Flora Springs Sauvignon Blanc Soliloquy Vineyard 2009

SECOND COURSE
New Columbian Spiced Duck Breast with sweet potato-maple flan, leek-mushroom & tomato “Succotash”, and balsamic-cherry gastrique
Paired with Flora Springs Merlot 2008

MAIN COURSE
Roasted Loin of Veal with rustic corn soufflé, grilled asparagus, red onion marmalade, romesco drizzle, and veal jus
Paired with Flora Springs Trilogy 2007

DESSERT COURSE
Chocolate “Brioche” Bread Pudding with raspberry coulis, vanilla anglaise, buttermilk gelato, and cocoa dusting
